Examples include:

Racing A variety of racing including the Friday Evening Points Series.
Regattas

Falmouth Week plus club and local village regattas.

Social

Barbecues and picnics at the Clubhouse or other venues around the area.

Events  Fun events such as multi-hostelry dinghy "races".
Winter: Talk Friday evening is Club Night. The bar is open and invited speakers from the Club or elsewhere give talks on a range of subjects, not necessarily nautical.
Workshop 'Wednesday Workshops' for the more practically-minded, when invited speakers or Club Members talk about their specialities, interests, or experiences. The bar is also open!

RYA Training Centre

MYC is an RYA Recognised Training Centre (RTC) and we offer RYA and other Training Courses to our members throughout the year.

Various RYA courses lead to recognised qualifications and are delivered by RYA qualified instructors, most of whom are also club members. They include subjects such as shorebased Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster, VHF, RADAR, Power Boat Level 2 (theory and practical using the club's RIB), First Aid at Sea and Diesel Engine Maintenance.
