For Sale: DUFOUR 2800cs
1982 - Xanadu 1V has been in current ownership for the last 9 years.
She is the "Club Special" version which has a taller rig and deeper fin keel, making the CS the best sailing version of this very popular, easily handled cruiser racer. The pointing abilities of the Club Special never cease to surprise owners of other less able boats. These boats have a very large, comfortable, deep, safe cockpit.
Classed as a 6 berth, she comfortably accommodates 4 in two separate cabins, with a self contained heads compartment with Jabsco sea toilet and a wash basin and vanity unit with storage.
The main cabin is very light and airy having a second hatch in the coachroof and over 6 foot headroom.
The table folds up to the main bulkhead giving much more space in the saloon than is normally found on other boats of a similar size. There is a gas cooker with two rings, grill and oven. A coolbox is set in to the worktop and a sink with foot pumped cold water from a 20 gallon freshwater tank housed under the forward V berth. This was renewed in 2008. Clock and barometer in main saloon.

For Sale: 1/3 Share of a CATALINA 320
on MYH mooring
The Catalina 320 is a popular sturdy 32 foot yacht built in the USA where over 1,000 have been sold. This well-built sailing yacht has benefited from substantial upgrading and maintenance over its life, with a substantial inventory to show for it. She is in excellent condition for the year and has had many of the key components replaced and most recently a new Vetus engine (in 2016) which is still under warranty and with less than 200 hours.
She is a well balanced yacht with a wing keel and sails very well achieving 6 knots easily. This is a well run syndicate that has been running over 15 years. One shareholder is a current MYC member and another current MYC member who previously had a share has now bought his own identical boat! We have a well honed agreement but more importantly a team attitude to everything with the differing owners bringing different talents to the group. The share has taken her to the Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, Brittany and along the south coast. Our usage pattern shares out 30 weeks via a rota basis, with both single week slots and fortnightly slots over the key summer period. Informal swapping between shareholders often allows variations on this pattern. Each shareholder pays £200 per month and this covers all costs bar fuel and any exceptional items such as the new engine.

For Sale: Squib 722 'Moondance'
Squib 19 foot keel boat in good condition. She is a competitive boat, we won many races in the fleet at Royal Dart last year including series winner, and second overall in the annual Regatta.
This year we have won many Mylor club races and have just won the Falmouth Week Regatta in our class. She proved to be faster (in the right hands !) over the water in windy conditions than expensive alternatives such as the Rustler 24 and Hawk 20.
She comes with a selection of sails, several mains, genoas and spinnakers. There is a cockpit cover. Milanes racing rudder with padded cover and a spare rudder. She has a self launching spinnaker pole with elastic recovery.
She also has a road trailer in good condition which can be used for launch and recovery from the public slipway at Mylor without difficulty. She draws 1 metre. The Squib is an ideal boat for the Carrick Roads and is easily handled by two people for leisure or racing and singlehanded for leisure. She has two bilge pumps and plenty of internal buoyancy equipping her to sail in all conditions as a safe and economic alternative to cruiser racing. She will be prepared for next season with a newly antifouled hull included in the sale:-)
Reason for Sale: We have purchased another Squib, currently being prepared for next season.
