National Coastwatch watchkeepers provide eyes and ears along the coast, keeping watch and monitoring radio channels to provide a listening watch in poor visibility. When people find themselves in trouble, we are there to alert HM Coastguard who direct the appropriate rescue services to the casualty. Don Garman, Station Manager of NCI Nare Point will present what the NCI watchkeepers do, their history and why the NCI is so important around our coastline.
(Club open from 7pm – Event starts at 7.30pm)
