Richard Salisbury is an accomplished sailor and decided to sail his Cornish Shrimper 19 ‘Sparrow‘ from St Just in Roseland to Amsterdam, mostly single-handed in April and May 2024.  In this talk, Richard will talk about how he planned his passages along the south coast, across the Dover Strait, along the North Sea coast and through the Dutch inland waters. He’ll talk about ‘Sparrow‘, the weather and seas he encountered, the highlights and the unexpected.
