The John G. Clark Memorial Trophy
John Clark was a long-standing member and one of the Club’s most active race officers. He was a very popular RO both with the competitors and the race management team who liked working with him.
Following John’s untimely death in 2013, his wife Margaret approached the Club and offered to give a trophy in his memory and that she would like it to be used to encourage young sailors. Margaret attended the 2013 annual prizegiving and presented the new trophy to the first winner.
