In 2009 the cup was redesignated for C Series G/H Class.
Originally awarded to Gaffers only, from 2009 it was determined that it could be won by either Gaffers or Shrimpers in G/H Class.
In 2020 it was awarded for the single Friday series and from 2022 for the second Friday evening series he G/H class.
The cup has two turned wooden sub-bases to provide space for plaques.
